So, here's how it went down...

I was lying in bed, half asleep, when it occurred to me, "Blast! I haven't taken my picture of the day yet! Maybe I can just leave a blank space and explain that I forgot. Aw crap, I'd better just take a picture."

So, I stumbled out of bed, found my way to my camera, pointed it out my bedroom window, took a snap of the incredibly bright moon, and then fell back into bed. There's some glare from the window because heck if I was going outside at night when I was half asleep. I'd have woken up on the lawn the next morning.

The lilac bush I pass on my evening walks. I always stop and smell the blooms.

Amanda sent me a notebook in the mail for my birthday. It's red and sparkly. Does she know me or what?

I was making pizza today and I had a pile of grated brick cheese and it reminded me of the time we were all down at Linda's and eating spaghetti for lunch. Lex was carrying what appeared to be a plate full of grated cheese into the dining room and Linda reached over and grabbed a handful off the plate. It wasn't until she saw Lex's look horror that she realized what had appeared to be a plate of cheese was actually Lex's dinner plate. Apparently there were a couple strands of spaghetti under that cheese.

What can I say? The girl likes cheese.

I've been getting a hankering to do a Prydain re-read and I found these bookmarks I made back in 2001. I made one for each book, with my favorite quotes on them. These books are so awesome, it's a shame some people haven't read them yet. Not that I'd name any names.

I took a nap this evening that ended up being more the definition of "short night's sleep" than "nap." Plus I had to watch the Southland season finale (!) and make myself some spaghetti. All of this means my photo of the day is a desperation shot borne of me going, "Ack! It's almost midnight! I have to take a picture!" Sorry.
