I brought back some delicious cupcakes for Jen's birthday. This is making me want to lick my laptop screen.

Hopes and Dreams

At the Times Square Visitor's Center, they have a display of wishes that were collected last New Year's Eve.

The wishes are written on small squares of colorful tissue and pinned up on the wall.

Some wishes are simple, with a little superficiality tacked on.

Some are simple, yet profound.

Some are thoughtful...

...others not so much.

Some made me wish along with the wisher for his or her dream to come true...

...and some made me wonder if the wisher had been hanging out with the "weed was legal" dude.

It was colorful in more ways than one.
