Oh, really? There's a pink dogwood out there that's just gorgeous, but its blooms look really different (aside from being a different color.) Maybe I should read a book on plants or something.
Ha! Liz I have been too busy with company/Family Feud to read blogs. It's definitely not a dogwood. Their blooms have 4 petals - like a cross. That's why people have thought that Christ's cross was made of dogwood. We'll leave that discussion for another time. I cant' tell if that is a bush rather than a tree but if it is a bush it is a snowball bush which is either a hydrangea or a close relative. Does it look anything like the no-longer-existing bush from your parents' backyard?
I am a big proponent of the Oxford comma, I hate when people say "I could care less" when they actually mean "I couldn't care less", I think people who live in the southern hemisphere are tragic because their Christmas comes in the summer.
They're called flowers.....
ReplyDeleteOh, you're hilarious
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a type of dogwood maybe?

ReplyDeleteI was just guessing on the dogwood. I'm not very good with flowers either. It looks really familiar, so it's gotta be something fairly common.
ReplyDeleteI had really expected Linda to have commented by now, telling of our ignorance with her flower knowledge. how disappointing.

The blooms do look like hydrangea, but it's definitely a tree.
