The Highline Park

In New York's Chelsea section, there's an old elevated train track running through the city. It's recently been converted into a park.

This last shot is where the park is being expanded. It will eventually be three times its current size.

I was eating breakfast at my hotel in NYC when the most amazing fog bank rolled up the Hudson. By the time I got back to my room, it had largely dissipated, but there was still a nice band left. I took this through the windows instead of heading outside partly because I wanted to get it before the fog blew away and partly because I'm lazy and was in my pajamas.
